Kids went for excursion at Girls Brigade HQ while we slack at Mil's house. I read my storybook while Kennie gossiped with Mil. Took some photos after the excursion as it's the first time they wore the uniform. They look so pretty in it.



Bday treat from Agnew and Jo. Don't want to let him spend so much so I choose a more budget place. Actually wanted to eat the chicken rice at Margaret Drive as I have a sudden craving for it but Agnew recommended another chicken rice at Yishun Central Blk 925. Overall, the rice and the chili are much better than Margaret Drive but I still prefer the chicken from Margaret Drive. The chicken at Margaret Drive is much smoother and the serving is more generous. I suspect that this stall actually didn't serve us the whole chicken.




Birthday gift from Agnew and Jo. It's a wine opening set, something that I will always use it.

Finally had a chance to try the Jalan Sultan Prawn Noodle at Kallang MRT. It's a waste of our effort to go there. Can only say that it's better then the prawn noodle from food court and coffee shop but definitely don't deserve the tag of famous prawn noodle.


Brought the kids to ECP to blade. A very hot day. Veona has improved quite a lot while the posture of Videl is a bit funny. She needs to improve on that but Kennie and I don't even know how to blade so we can't teach us much too.

Lunch at Old Town White Coffee. The place was quit packed but the service was prompt. Lots of varieties to choose from and the food are also quite tasty except that it's quite expensive.

A boring day. Rushed to another office for a briefing in the morning. Trapped in the rain and it's lucky that I saw my colleague at the bus stop and he was waiting for another colleague to fetch him. The briefing in the morning was postponed to afternoon. Sigh. Talking about efficency. They should inform us earlier. BF at Bukit Batok and we went back to office.

Was told that we will not be involved in the adhoc tasking and they have no idea why we were there in the first place. Sian, kanna sabo. Look so stupid but it's a blessing. I can spend more time with my family as my weekend will not be burnt.

Had our office cohesion in the afternoon. Colleagues suggested Shashlik Restaurant, a restaurant that served Russian Food at Far East Shopping Centre but boss is not very keen as it's quite expensive. Ended having lunch at Rice Table at International Building. Don't really like it as it's more like having "Cai Fan" Economical Rice in a Restaurant setting. Anyway, didn't eat much as my mind is occupied with what Boss has just told us. I will be involved in some adhoc tasking for 2 weeks and it's supposed to be 24/7.

Next, we went to Minds Cafe at Purvis Street near Bugis. It's a cafe where we got to play board games and enjoy the food and drink. We played Taboo or whatevey you call it, the players take turns describing a word or phrase on a drawn card to their partner without using five common additional words or phrases also on the card. The opposing partners watch a timer and use a buzzer to stop the game, buzz the player describing if one of the five off limits words or phrases is used!". We played for a while and changed to Monopoly cause the 2 Aunties were not very spotting when playing Taboo.

Rushed back to office after the cohesion to prepare the documents for the briefing tmr.

A lazy sunday. Woke up at 9+. It's considered quite late as I normally woke up at 7+ on weekend. Not planning to go anywhere so can sleep a bit later.

The kids do their homework and art work. Run out of gas and called the gas delivery man. He told us that we need to change the piping and the gas connector every 3 years as it's a fire hazard. It will cost around 85 bucks to change but we didnt change it in the end.



Went to Army Salvation to donate some stuff. Heaven is on our side cause it started raining heavily after we donated it. Wasted my time to go to Vivo to cancel the Cashone ac at SCB. Kennie took up the loan without knowing what is it and the bank credited 6 mths of her salary to her bank ac. Ended have to go down personally to SCB to cancel it.

Kids went for their CCA while we went to Fajar for marketing. Mum and sis will be coming over for dinner. Sis has not come to my house for almost 5 to 6 years while Mum around 2 years.

Busy doing area cleaning while Kennie prepare the food for the steamboat.

Cara and Crystal enjoyed themselves as there's lots of toys for them to play and they also enjoyed playing with Veona and Videl. Quite tiring but it's still worth it as I believed Mum and Sis enjoyed themselves too. But they didnt eat much and so there's lots of leftover.

Colleagues bought a cake for Boss and I to celebrate our bday. They gave me a cute design tie and a belt with diamond stud. Don't think I will dare to wear it. Zm is back and he brought me 2 bottles of red wine from DFS and instant noodle from Taiwan.

Kids went for their piano while we went to Sheng Shiong to buy the food for the steamboat tmr.
