Needed this break as last 2 week has been very busy. Spend the whole day looking for nice food in Orchard.
My bf. Coffee with Homemade muffin |
Lunch at Song Fa BKT at Centrepoint. Nice!
Finally tried Honolulu cafe after a few failed attempt to queue for it.Was having high hope on their egg tart and coffee as it's very famous in HK (actually i have nvr heard of this cafe in HK). Haha. Bu't anyway Singaporean love to queue so when i heard of this famous cafe in Centrepoint, I have made up my mind to queue and try it. Anyway, we felt that it's not really worth the queue. Think we can find better egg tart at other Dim Sum restaurants.
Poising with their new Spec.
We also queued for Bake Cheese Tarts at Ion. Bake Cheese Tart is from Hokkaido and is famous for its mousse-like cream cheese filling and crisp pastry. We only queued for around 30mins. Heard that others actually waited for 2 hours when they just opened in Apr. It's soft on the inside, crispy on the outside and can taste the rich cheese inside. So yummy. But it's a bit ex. They cost $3.50 each or $19.50 for a box of six.
