We explored the newly opened Coney Island (Pulau Serangoon) this morning. Coney Island is located on an actual island beside Punggol Settlement, The island is meant to be undeveloped so it's just trees and some wildlife here and there. No toilets or drinking water. There aren't any electricity and lights too so we must get out by dark. We only managed to complete half of the island as it's really v hot and we were hungry like mad. We also didnt explore the beach area as it's infested with sandfly

The Kungfu Masters of Coney Island
We had lunch at Just The Place at Punggol Settlement. It's the only restaurant that's opened for business at this hour. Food is just average. Lots of restaurants at Punggol Settlement. Will be back to try the rest of the restaurants.
Sian. After much persuasion and pressure by Kennie, our next stop is IKEA. But we didnt make it to IKEA as Xiao Hei broke down halfway at Commonwealth Ave. Activated the tow truck and made a painful decision to bring it to the scrapyard. Xiao Hei left us 10 days earlier before the COE expired. Kennie and Kids took the train back home to take the Transaction Pin to scrap Xiao Hei while I waited for the tow truck to come.
Sob sob Cant bear to part with Xiao Hei. He has been part of our family for the past 10 years. Recd $80 from the scrapyard. The balance of the Parf will be credited by LTA after 1 or 2 weeks.
Super heavy rain after we left the scrapyard. Think xiao hei must be crying.
