Belated Bday treat for Alison at Dancing Crab.

Dessert after dinner.

Good to see that they are still so close now. Hope they will maintain the closeness between them.

Home cooked lunch prepared by Kennie. My favourite stew roasted pork with salted vege and beancurd stick soup.

We  were lucky to be able to get hold of the Sea Games Opening rehearsal's tickets. It's also our first visit to the new Sports Hub. As we had not taken our dinner, we dabao food to bring in to the stadium but was refused entry as food is not allowed in the stadium. Sian. So we had to go to a corner to  finish our food.

The stadium looks very grand but it was damn hot. This was extracted from Wiki "An energy efficient cooling system is also designed to deliver cooled air to every seat in the stadium while using less than 15 per cent of energy as compared to a conventional air-conditioned stadium, providing every spectator a cool and comfortable time to enjoy an event." Not sure if  they didnt on the cooling system for rehearsal or is that what they can offer for the state of the art cooling system.

We didnt really enjoy the Opening Ceremony. Kind of boring in my opinion. We left for Supper before the show ended.

Supper at Stay by the Bay. Also our first time here. Standard stuff that they sell here, BBQ fish, satay, fried chicken wing, oyster omelette etc but of cse the price is much more higher as compared to Hawker Centre.

Our dinner at Greendot at Westgate. Not too bad for a vegetarian restaurant. Price is also quite affordable.
