Kopi break at Tiong Bahru Bakery. Think we are really very mountain tortoise. Quite a no. of cafe and restaurants have opened around Tiong Bahru area and this is the first time we visited the place. We always thought that there are only some old residential buildings, Tiong Bahru Market and a few old coffee shops so we didnt really know where are all those cafe/restaurants. Circled a few times around the old estate before we found Forty Hands. The place was packed so we decided to explore to other places.
Walked for quite a distance before we found Tiong Bahru Bakery. Managed to find a table. My first thought. This place must be good cause it's full house. Only tried the coffee as we already had breakfast. A wrong move as the coffee really C_ _ and the place is popular for their pastries and not coffee I guess. It's like a market, damn noisy. Definitely not a place for catching up with friends.
It’s right next to The Orange Thimble which I have yet to try. And the bakery is under the same group that manages Forty Hands and Open Door Policy. Apparently Forty Hands is famous for their coffee but I serious doubt it since the coffee at Tiong Bahru Bakery is so dis_ _ _ _ _ _ting.
Accompanied Kennie to perm her hair. Hope it turns out nice. Hehe. If not I will keep laughing at her. I know I'm very bad. Keke.
Our lunch. Katong Laksa at Bugis.
Dinner with my Sec sch frds at Thien Kee Steamboat at Golden Mile. & also celebrated Jacinta's Bday.
