Universal Studio Singapore

Went USS today to celebrate Videl's Bday. Booked the tickets online yesterday. Mastercard is having a 20% discount for the tickets,adult ticket is around $55 & child ticket is around $40 (sian. NTUC card member got better deal).

It rained quite heavily in the morning but stopped after a while. Heng ah or it would have dampen our mood if it continued to rain. We rushed to the tallest dueling roller coasters in the world at 42.5 meters, Battlestar Galactica (Human and Cylon). Each Battlestar Galactica track is a kilometer-long and the ride takes approximately 90 seconds to complete.

Surprisingly the queue is very short, only 5 mins of waiting time. We tried the Human track first (the red track). It's just like normal roller coaster and the speed is quite slow. & it's quite bumpy and jerky. Yawnz. We have tried more exciting coaster then this.

The Cylon track (blue track)is more exciting which features an inverted track filled with corkscrews, cobra roll and 360 degrees turns. It would be better if the ride is longer.

USS is really very small as compared to USJ but the theme and building of each section is actually quite nice especially for ancient Eygpt and Madagascar, and lots of beautiful mascots to take photos with that we missed out in USJ. Maybe there are too many rides in USJ so our priority is to complete the rides rather then to take photos with the mascots.

Beware. Put on raincoat if you are scare of getting wetting.

Watched Lost World. The same as USJ but we understand the whole show as it's in English. Super worth watching. Very finally but at the same time very exciting. The explosion effect was breath taking! Everything was so real!

Everyone was sucking this ice blended drink. We bought one a well, fruit punch flavour. Much better then expected. Pretty expensive. $15.80

Weird. Waiting time for children's ride is so much longer then those exciting ride.

Overall the experience is much better then expected. The down side is that Singapore's weather is really very humid and hot. We were all sweaty and sticky. Will definitely return for sure cause I love themepark. My dream is to go to Universal Studio Orlando. Sigh. but dont know whether it will happen in the near future.
