Woke up at 3plus to go to the airport to send off Grace. That’s one thing that I hate to do.
Disrupting my beauty sleep. Uncle David and Aunty Cindy were there as well. There goes another of Kennie’s Kakis. The funny part is that we were quite worried that they might not make it on time to board the plan but they seems to be the least worried. Taking their time to clear the custom and still going to the DFS when the gate was closing. Sweat! To make matter worse, they have so many pieces of hand carry luggage and 2 small children.






Out for meeting the whole day and the lucky thing is that the meeting ended earlier than expected. Went back to Mil’s house to fetch Veona and brought her to ICA to collect her passport.

I have been becoming more and more like a couch potato. Spending more time watching TV, working, sitting in front of computer, eating and sleeping. Have not exercised for months. Guess my stamina has dropped to zero. Having headache recently so guessed must be the effect of not exercising and leading a pressurized and unhealthy lifestyle. Must be determined to start exercising or very soon I will breakdown. Went home, changed to my PT kit and went to the running track opposite my house to jog. Only ran around 2KM. Will increase progressively so I wouldn’t want to push myself too much.

Finally booked the room for our Malacca Trip. Will be staying Hotel 906 on the first night and Hotel Equatorial on the second. All the reputable hotels are fully booked on 8 Aug so have to settle for Hotel 906. It’s actually recommended by David who always frequent Malacca. Rate is very cheap. Only $65 for a 3 bedded room and it’s inclusive of bf.

Feeling excited cause we will be driving up alone as Sis and family won’t be joining us now. Just hope we will not lost our way there. Though it’s just a short trip, I will still be playing our itinerary. Will be going to Baba Nonya Museum, A Famosa, Mahkota Parade, Night Market and many more. Checking out the net on the location for famous peranakan food, chicken rice ball, chendol, satay celup etc.

Our Bf at Dovers Hawker. Food still ok except for the Mee Siam. Never tasted such horrible Mee Siam in my life. Instead of hot, spicy and sour, it's sweet.





Lunch with Ah Hui at Yishun Northpoint. Northpoint has extended out bigger with more shops and a Japanese Themed Food Court. We are so mountain tortoise cause we actually didn’t know about it. The price of the food is quite economical and tasted quite nice for that price. So much better than some food court and Jap restaurant.






Lots of catching up between Kennie and Ah Hui. Said that we will meeting up soon for dinner at Arab Street. Let’s see whether it will happen cause we said the same thing the last time we met (2 year back? Can’t remember when.)

Went to ICA to renew the passport for Kennie and Veona. Could have done it online but we are not very sure how to resize the photo to the required dimension. Anyway, it’s very simple to renew it at ICA. Just complete the form, attached the photo and dropped in the box with the receipt or credit card no.

Lunch at Hai Tien Lo. It’s almost 13 years since we last came. We actually carrot Lian Fei (our insurance agent) the last time cause we bought our insurance from him and demanded that he treat us a good meal. Hehe… Come to think about it, we were quite bad then.

The restaurant is at the highest level at Pan Pacific Hotel. The view was nice, overlooking the Singapore Flyers, our new IR and the rest of the city area. Service was good and of course the food is top notch. Was sad that I couldn’t try all the dishes as Kennie and the kids were very full after eating a bit. Shouldn’t have brought them for such ala carte buffet since their appetite is relatively small.
































Watched NDP NE3 show. This is 1 of the nicest NDP show we have ever watched. The story plots are interesting and meaningful. Nice props, entertaining Emcee (Mark Lee, Gurmit, Michell) and they have used quite a lot of visual effect as well.

But the downside, the weather was really very hot and the long and tiring journey back.
