It's labour day and it's also Father in Law and Videls bday. So it's a no homework day for the kids today. Had Wanton Mee(CCK Ave 1) for BF. Videl requested us to bring her here for the Wanton Mee as it's her favourite.
Had planned to bring them to Wild Wild Wet today but canceled it due to the Swine Flu. Worried that the virus might spread easily in the water. So we went to Explorer Themepark instead. Everywhere is starting the temperature taking exercise again, a good move to start early though there's no case of outbreak yet. kids had 2 hours of fun while we cam whore again. This is our favourite pastime whenever we are here.
Playing the giant size snake and ladder
Meet up with William and Janice(kids' Godfather and Mother). They are back for a holiday and bought quite a lot of nice stuff back for us. Will put the pic in the next post.
Lunch at Tampopo Liang Court. The place is quite packed but luckily William was there earlier to take a queue no. hehe... This place is actually famous for their Ramen but seems like their menu has expanded ever since they have shifted to the now bigger location. Their Ramen is still the best that I have eaten but I wouldn't say the same for the rest of their menu.
This restaurant was actually named after a Japanese Comedy movie that was released in 1986. Seems like it's quite a nice show and is still quite popular till date.

Tonkatsu Ramen - The Ramen is good but the Tonkatsu got the pig taste(of course pig got pig taste. I'm referring to those smelly pig taste)
Ten Zaru Soba
Coffee session at Trung Nguyen Coffee at Liang Court. We tried the Vietnamese ca phe phin (drip coffee), the coffee cup comes with a stainless metal drip filter on top that allows the coffee to slowly trickle through the press and into the cup. Patience is required as it would take some time to slowly drip, drip, drip into the cup (which would contain condensed milk if that’s the one you opt for). The coffee is really rich and robust but the taste is a bit funny though. I would still prefer the normal coffee from Coffee Shop or Ya Kun.
