Our lunch at NYNY. The portion is quite huge. Only ordered a seafood platter for 2 and a roast chicken. So full that we had to cancel our dessert. The food is much better then the previous time we had at Ang Mo Kio Hub and the service was good except for a black sheep. Almost dropped a knife onto Videl and didn't even bother to apologise.

Went window shopping at Chinatown to absorb the CNY atmosphere. Place was crowded with people. Actually kids wanted to stay at Karin's house and didn't want to join us but I forced them to join us. It's because of them that I wanted to go to Chinatown. Wanted them to learn more about our Chinese culture. Anyway, there's nothing much there. Basically selling the same things like Taiwan Mochi, different types of cookies and sweets. All boring stuff.

Who is this Ah Pek? Why is he in the photo?

Ice stick. $1 for a stick. Chatuchak only sells 10 bahts for a stick. Really chop carrot.

So crowded!

Famous Taiwan Mochi. The stalls are quite generous in letting people try.

Cheap Cheap Cookies.

Moo - Year of the Ox

Melon Seeds - the kids favourite.

Gong Xi Gong Xi

Had dessert at Wei Xiang Yuan after a long walk.

Dinner at a coffee shop beside the Chinatown market opposite Maxwell Market. This stall is famous for their fish head. Fried Fish Head, Fish Head Soup and Fried Fish Head Bee Hoon. It's very tasty but it's quite ex, $10 for a small portion just enough for 2 pax and the presentation of the food looks very ugly.
