Alison fetched us to LCK Cemetery to witness the digging of Aunty's grave. Her ashes would be place together with Uncle at Mandai Cemetery. We were late and they have already completed digging. Heard from Karin and Karen that the condition of the coffin is quite bad and there's a pool of water surrounding the coffin. The shocking part is that the lower part of the body has not fully decomposed yet after almost a decade. We went for breakfast while they cremated her body at LCK Crematorium.
When re reached LCK Crematorium, the bones and ashes were ready for collection. We were told to pick a piece of bone each and place it in the urn as it would bring us good luck. The remaining bones/ashes were transferred by the contractor in the urn and he place the skull into the urn last as the skull is supposed to be on top which is just like our head.
Next we brought the urn to Mandai Crematorium and collected the bones/ashed of Uncle. We went through the same process of picking the bones etc. The urns were then brought to the niche and sealed.
Kennie went to work while I went home to do some housework and slack around.
