On leave today. Slack at home and reformat my new PC. So disapointed with it as it's quite a reputable brand but it keep crashing and it's less than 2 mths. Wanted to go market to do some marketing for tmr lunch but was too lazy to move my butt.

Had buffet lunch with ZM, XX & ZY at Sushi Kikuzawa. Their speciality is sushi and we were sitted at the sushi counter and was served by a Jap chef. The sushi were freshly made by the sushi. There's quite a lot of special sushi like puffer fish, abalane, sea urchin etc. Think it's much better then most conveyor belt sushi joints but it come with an ex price tag costing $38 per pax.
Went shopping with them and ended playing pool. I'm such a boring person. They suggested singing K or watching a movie but I was not very keen.

Meet Kennie at TP MRT to accompany her home. We were both stuck in the train as the train was delayed for quite a while. I tht someone commite sucide again. My bad!

Went home to do area cleaning. Poor kennie. She had headache again so she rested early.

Had BF with Granny and Aunt at Maxwell Market. We had out favorite sliced raw fish with porrige. Actually felt a bit sick of it aready but Kennie likes to eat. IMO, their standard has dropped quite a lot and the stall owner is not as friendly as previously.


Kids went back home to study again. Another 1 week plus of suffering and their exam would be over. Yipee. We can go out more often.

Dinner with Mum at lot one. Her skin condition is getting worse again. She just wouldn't listen to us and control her diet. There's a new Food Court at Lot one. The layout of it is crap, it's more cramp and the seats are limited as compared to the old FC.

Bought bday presents for the kids. A digital watch for Videl and a bag for Veona.

The Girls Brigade organised a Rock Climbing session for them. Was very proud of them as they managed to conquer it. Kennie and I don't even have a chance to try it.

The sofa was delivered to our home but the design for 2 of the cushion cover is wrong. Must ban the kids from eating on our new sofa. Hehe.

Stayed at home for the remaining of the day. Kids did their school work while kennie did some packing and rearranging of the furniture for the bedroom.

Another boring week. Doing the same old mundane stuff over and over again. I need a break from all this. Looking forward to May as we will be going to Riau Island from 24 to 26 May. The package is quite affordable. $242 per pax for 3D2N including ferry, 3 meals a day and many sea activities.

The Goverment has just announced that 24 May is The National Family Celebration and would like to encourage citizens to spend time with their families on this day. There's a possibility that it might be a Public Holiday on this day. Just hope it's true.

Lunch treat by Boss on Weds. It's sort of like an appreciation lunch given to us for the hard work that we have put in for the Co. Happen to be Secretary week this week and most of the restaurants have increased their price by at least 50%. In the end, we went to Cafe Brio as they are having a 1 for 1 promotion for UOB cardholder and surprisingly, the price remain unchanged though it's Secretary Week. The food is nice and fresh but it's really definitely not worth it if's not on promotion.

Went to Mil's house earlier on Wed and Thurs. She has sprained her thumb so I went to fetch Videl and Jodie back from school. Quite poor thing if she has to carry their bag and also to take umbrella for them. It's also good that I could be there earlier so that I could supervise Veona in her work.

Kids had their piano lesson and we brought Mil to a Sinseh at Jurong West. She felt much better after that. Kennie wanted to give it a try as she has been complaining about her hands recently but the Sinseh was kind enough to teach her some stretching ex. Told her to come back to him if it does not work.

Oh ya. Forgot to mention that Veona will be participating in a piano competition on 21 June. Think she's looking forward to it too.

Lunch at Jurong East. The chicken rice is quite yummy and the owner is actually Sis's father in law. The business is very good even without any posters from Yummy King or Makansutra. Kennie wanted to visit the Sinseh but she didn't get to see him as the queue was really very long.


Bought a sofa at IMM today. It's made from thick bamboo pole, with cushion around and the seat is actually a single sized bed. We felt it's quite pretty with the Zen look. The garment will be giving us the GST rebate by end of this month and the GST for the sofa already cost us almost $200.

Dinner at Jurong Sports Complex. Nothing fantastic about the food but the kids had a craving for sushi so we brought them there. Must pampered them a bit. The buffet at Sakura seems like a good deal. Look much better than the one at Downtown East and Science Park. Maybe will try that in the near future.

Getting more and more impatient with Veona. Keep scolding her for the slightest mistakes she made. She's also getting more rebellous and will talk back to us. Wanted to be patient to her but always cannot control my temper.

Mil just called and advised me to control my temper. The very next moment, I screamed at Veona. She's getting out of hand. Made my throat so sore after all the shouting and screaming. Think I will go crazy very soon.

Stayed at home the whole day as Veona has a lot of homework. Crazy teachers. Gave her so much homework. Actually can't blame them also. It's the kiasu parents. She has homework from her school teachers, tuition homework from Blk 511 & 507. Maybe we should cancel the tuition and I will do the teaching instead. Shall see her result for



Had tea appreciation at home and watched a TVB drama series "War with my in law 2". Funny show and it helps us to destress (for scolding Veona the whole day). The tea leave is from our Taiwan trip and it's still as fragrance.

Went to Jurong East area to check out the price of sofa. Actually, we have one design in mind but still hope that we could find a better design.

Was at the airport to send off my collegues who will be going overseas for business trip. Office will be quite relax for another 1 mth. Almost dozed off while I was on my way there as it's already way pass my sleeping hour. Lucky I got home safely .

Busy day. Meeting after meeting. Hope there will be some good news on my job application soon.
Supposed to be on half day leave to look after the kids cause Mil just went for to see a dentist to extract her teeth. She has been in a very bad mood for the past few days due to her condition. The whole process only took 5 mins and she felt much better after that, so I cancelled my leave

Went Tomb sweeping today. It's Kennie's Grandfather. so bad of me. Almost met with an accident while we were on our back back. ABC! The driver in front of me stop for no apparent reason. I jammed my brake as hard as I could and could hard the screeching sound. It's a blessing that I managed to brake on time.

Ken is flying off to Saudi Arabia tonight for a mth. Think it's some wedding dinner for the royal We send him to the Airport and the kids had a wonderful time with Ken. Made so much noise and playing games in the Airport.

Got lose twice while on my way back from Airport. Guess must be too tired.

Jetstar Asia. So small as compared to a normal carrier. We will be taking this to Bangkok in June.

Don't know what are they playing. We are enjoying our coffee while they are playing.

Will be going for a kelong trip at Riau Island Indonesia in May with Kevin and Karin. Karin will check out the price an update us soon.

We brought the Kids for their CCA and went Fajar for marketing. Went back home to prepare the stuff for cooking and fetched the kids back after their CCA.

Mum and Sis came to our house today and we prepared a simple meal to celebrate Mum's Bday. A busy day. Had to entertain Mum and Sis, and also play with Cara and Crystal. So much cleaning to be done after dinner but glad that they enjoyed our cooking.

This is not our cooking. Bought bought this spring chicken cause Mum and sis have craving for it.

Durians from Mel and Sis. Not really very tasty cause it's not durian season now.

Mum will be going to Genting with sis on her bday. Kind of sad that I couldn't join them and she's not around on her Bday.

Was on half day leave in the afternoon. Having mood swing recently. Stayed at home to do area cleaning as Mum and Sis will be coming for dinner tmr.

Kids went for their piano lesson. Kennie took the wrong food again and it almost caused her to have allergy. Lucky thing was she took the anti allergy tablet immediately or the allergy could turn deadly if it's too serious.

Too much bad news this week. 1 good news at last. Karin will be joining us in our BKK trip.

Kennie was on MC today. I was on leave to accompany her. Watched Jiang Shang Mei Ren and Death Note 2 at home. Slack at home.

The MI result is finally out and my increment is just a mere $xx. I'm thoroughly disappointed. Had a long chat with my CEO and I could see that he's making some effort to comfort me. But what's the use? We have contributed much last year but was not rewarded for it. Aunty will be receiving the award as we topped the audit check and I'm supposed to be the one receiving it. Another disappointment. I don't really have the mood to pen down what's on my mind now.

Didn't go anywhere today. Just brought the kids to Ms Teh's house for their piano lesson while we went JP to stock up some groceries. Went to Mil's house for lunch. Mil cooked Bee Hoon Kuey, Kevin prepared Avocado juice while Alison baked fish and cooked green bean soup. Veona there her temper on me as Kevin and his family are going swimming and we are not joining them. Think we should bring the kids to participate more in activities such as swimming, blading and cycling.

Had lunch with Day at Ah Hwa Ba Kut Teh. Though he loves their BKT but the place is too hot to his liking. We send them to the airport after lunch and chatted a while before they boarded the plane. They are only back for a short trip and so we couldn't get the chance to bring them around S'pore. Witnessed an accident while we were on our way back. A motorcycle went crashing into the centre divider at ECP. It's lucky that the car in front of him braked on time or it would have ran over him. Hope he's not seriously injured.


Visited Granny and brought her for dinner. Will try to visit her and to bring to eat her favorite food more often. Hope she could get over the unhappiness soon. Had claypot rice at Geylang which is highly recommended by Karin. Something unhappy happened when Karen and Vencent turned up at Granny's house. Shall not go into
details.
