It's the last day of the mth. Time really flies very fast. It will be CNY in a week time. Still much to be done but time is really tight. Whole house is in a mess but I couldn't contribute much due to my back problem.

Woke up with my neck problem getting worse and not much recovery for my back. MC will end today and I will be going back to work tmr. Really worried that my back will not be able to take the strain when I'm back to work. Hope will recover before CNY or it will be my worse CNY ever. Sigh.

Woke up with a stiff neck. Not sure if it's due to my long hours of sleep or due to my back problem. Hope it will go off soon.

Went to see my GP and was given 2 days MC. Sometime I really doubt his ability. He seems more like those out to cheat people's money. I would not have see him if not of the shorter waiting time.

Mother gave me a surprise visit as she's worried about my back problem. Not wanting to let her see my house in a mess, I made her wait at my void deck. Anyway, her skin problem is getting getting worse despite her follow-up visit with the Skin Centre. Didn't join her for dinner as I'm visiting my 2 bao bei at Mil's house. Felt so bad as she came all the way to see me but I only companied her for a while.

The kids were happy to see us as we have not seen them since Sun.

Had to go back to office to settle some stuff. ZM fetched me from my house but as usual he was late. Made me stand and wait for 20 mins. I'm glad that I'm able to stand so long as this shows that I'm recovering. For the past few days, I couldn't event stand for 1 min.

Took half day leave after clearing my stuff. Had lunch with Boss and Aunty. Boss was kind enough to drop me at my house.

So sad that I missed the ORD treat given by ZM. He treated my colleagues to some Chinese Restaurant.

Was on urgent leave today. The pain is back to haunt me again. Kennie was also on leave to look after me. Went back to see the sinseh and was quite pissed off with him as he charged me again. I actually expected that it would be free since I just saw him yesterday. He massaged longer this time and I felt much better as compared to yesterday. The sinseh advised that I must not jog for at least a mth. Kind of disappointed as jogging is my hobby.

Really felt very bored as I was bedridden for many days.

I couldn't stand the pain anymore so decided to visit the sinseh at Jurong East. Kevin was kind enough to come to my house to fetch me there and sis went to take the queue no. for me. The pain was so unbearable hat I have to squat down after walking a few steps. It's quite lucky that there's no queue today or I would have fainted again. The sinseh said I have slip disc and he tried to push the disc back to its original place. It was so painful that I broke down in sweat and my face turned pale. The pain was much reduced after treatment but have not fully recovered yet. The sinseh advised me to be very careful with my movement as the disc might slip out if I'm not careful.

I experienced my worse day in my life today. I was not not able to sit, stand or walk. Spend the rest of my day sleeping and Kennie even had to feed me. I even fainted while going to the toilet. The pain was so unbearable that I just pass out when trying to stand straight. Kennie saw me sitting beside the toilet bowl and I told her that I was resting. Actually I fainted but I do not want to make her worry.

Kennie brought the kids for their CCA and came back to look after me and to do some spring cleaning. Felt really useless as I couldn't help her. The kids came back quite late as they went to Judy's house.

Kennie nagged at me for scratching the pot for the steamboat. Tks to Thaddeus, there's so much scratches in the pot as he doesn't know how to wash it. He offered to buy a new one for me but of course I wouldn't take his money. It's out of his goodwill to volunteer to wash it after using.

Kids went for their piano lesson while we went to Sheng Shiong to buy the fresh prawns for tmr.

My Acer laptop crashed on me. It's not able to boot up. Think the hard disk is spoil. It's quite lucky that I have backed up most of my data. Time to buy a new laptop.

I experienced a sharp pain on my back when removing my jeans. I couldn't even stand or sit and I had to crawl to my bed.

We did something sneaky in the office today. As most of our guys are not around, we decided to have a reunion steamboat dinner in the office. We went to Sheng Shiong to buy the food for the steamboat. I did most of the cutting and cleaning of the seafood, and marinated the chicken and pork. Guess my colleagues are too pampered to even know how to do it.

We had the steamboat dinner in my interview room. 1 word to describe " Shiok". We truly enjoyed ourselves.

Lunch at Margeret drive again. Aunty simply loves the chicken rice there. Anyway it's her treat so it's ok.

We went for ice cream at Sunset Way. Have not go there for quite sometime as Kennie has been having a lot of phlegm for months. She's having craving for their Avavodo ice cream.

Ran with my colleagues till my lung almost burst.

On leave today

Went back to office early in the morning as I left my EZ link card in the office as I was worried that it might be stolen. It's ok if it's just an EZ Link card but it's a credit card too so this explains why I was so worried.

Brought mum to Skin Centre for her medical appt. Blood result is out. Everything is fine

Kennie was on half day leave. Had lunch at Seoul Kool, average food only. Went shopping in Town but it's just window shopping as we have already bought our CNY clothes.

Felt so bad as I had an arguement with Mil again. It's all because of some laundry issues.

Wanted to do some marketing at Bukit Batok Market but the whole place gave me headache. It's so messy and noisy so we went IMM instead.

Had BF with Mum. Really very worried about her health. She just sprained her back and her skin problem is worse

Shopping at Clementi Central. Nothing much. Just bought a few pair of shoes for the kids. Bought some Munchy Donuts for dinner.

The kids had their CCA in school while we did some spring cleaning to our house. The whole house is so dirty and messy like a garung guni den.

Brought the kids to Lower Pierce Reservoir to catch prawn or whatever they call it. It's fun as we tried to lure the prawn to us by using bread tied to a stick. When the prawn get nearer to the bait, we will use the net to catch it. We only managed to catch a few prawns while the experts like Judy caught really a lot. Actually not very sure if it's edible as we just catch for fun. We didn't bring the prawn back and gave it to Judy instead. Heard that she keeps a tank full of prawns.

It's Fri. The week seems to pass very fast this week.

I broke my running record today (20.15 mins for 5km) and also came in first but that's because most of them are involved in parade. My target of under 20 mins is still far and I think it's really very hard to achieve that since age is catching up with me.

Kids had their piano lesson while we went JP. Bought a shirt at Man Master. Saw Philip and her wife there. Will meet up with them to club on CNY.

A super shack Mon. Was takan to do super siong exercise early in the morning. Was so tired after that I almost dozed off in the office. Almost met with a few accidents while I was on my way home.
I'm already very tired but was even made worse by the kids. Made me really very piss off as they got all their spelling wrong.

Had BF at Tiong Bahru Merket. The Lor Mee is really very tasty and their specialty is Lor Mee with Shark Meat. Kennie bought some cloth for making blanket. Always takan Granny to make blanket for us. Anyway she enjoyed making blanket or she will not have much to do at home. Visited her at her house.

Send the kids to the church. The venue is at Mandarin Hotel as they couldn't book the usual venue this week. Went shopping for CNY clothes. Bought 2 pair of slim jeans.

The kids went for their first CCA in the morning. Can't wait to see them in their Girl Brigade's uniform.

Went marketing at Fajar Market as we will be cooking for Mil. She complained that we have not cooked for her for quite some time.

The kids went back home to do their homework. Sian. This will be the routine stuff that we will be doing on Sat in future. CCA, homework, etc.

On urgent half day leave in the afternoon. Thought it would be a peaceful afternoon wihout Boss around. Mil called and wanted me to take leave as Veona needs to choose a CCA by today. It's compulsory for all P4 to join a CCA. There's really not much choices for her as she has tuition on almost everyday except for Mon and Thur. The enrolment for some of the CCAs are full as well and thus giving her very limited choices. Anyway after considering, we decided to let her join Girl Brigade as it's on Sat. Videl called and said she wanted to join Girl Brigade as well. Hope they will not drop out halfway again.


Went back home to slack.

It's my Company's Anniversary today. We had the celebration at Singapore Discovery Centre and Army Musuem. Kind of bored as we are made to roam the area by ourselves and without any conducted tour. 1st stop, we spend a good 2.5 hrs in Army Musuem seeing the heritage of the Army. We were not interested but pretend to be interested by examing almost every pieces of exhibits. 2nd stop, we went to SDC. It's my 3rd visits to SDC and it's the same old stuff, nothing much has changed. Watched the pilot show at the SDC theatre. The theatre is good with large screen and superb sound system but the show sucks. Seeing a a bunch of Airforce guys conducting some training. More then half of the guys fell asleep.

Dinner sucks as well and lady luck is not with me this year. Didn't get anything for the lucky draw.

Anyway, the whole event sucks but it's the cohesiveness of branch that made me enjoy my day. We joked, talked rubbish and cam whore.

It's Mon. A start of a new week. 51 weeks to 2009. Haha. What am I talking? The year has just started and I'm counting down to 2009?

Aunty just told boss that she doesn't want to go overseas in Apr due to some personal reasons. Sian. It will mean that I would have to go on her behalf. Kennie is so sad when I told her that I'm going overseas for 3 weeks in Apr. She would be alone to look after the kids. Hope boss will get someone to go instead.

Kennie had a terrible headache and she's sleeping now.

Didn't really go anywhere this weekend. Still recovering from monday blue.

Rained the whole day on Sat so slacked at home the whole day.
Kennie prepared lunch & dinner for us, so fortunate to have home cooked food. Kok Heng's wedding dinner tonight but I didn't attend as I'm really phobia in attending wedding dinner. Eating the same type of food again and again.

Wanted to go Kallang MRT for Jalan Sultan prawn mee but ended eating at Ren Ren prawn noodle as we got lost while driving to Kallang MRT. Had a heated arguement with Kennie over this but everything went back to normal after a while.

Watched Alvin & Chipmunks at Vivo. A very nice show which brought back sweet memories when I was a small boy I always like to watch the cartoon when I was young and I loved their songs.

Kids went for their piano while we went shopping at JP. Ah Du was there promoting his new album and the whole place was packed with fans.

Alison just went for an operation today. Supposed to be a day surgery but she's allergic to the anesthetic and had to be warded for a night. Brought Jodie to see doc as she's having cough for almost a week. Waited for almost 2 hrs.

Just heard a news that a 41year old guys just passed away on Wed after running 1.2 km. It's really a very sad news to hear that.

Veona called and told me that she fell down in school. Some guys actually teased her and she fell down while catching them. My heart felt so pain when I heard that.

Went jogging with my colleagues. Ping Wah is posted to another camp. Will miss him. No more lunch and evening jog with him.

Feeling so blue today. Everything didn't go smoothly early in the morning. Traffic is heavy and there's so many traffic lights. Make my blood pressure shoot up.

Kennie is sick and is on MC. She's getting weaker recently. Have been sick for the past 3 mths. Hope she will recover soon.

Have not been exercising for the past 2 weeks so jogged home from office.

It's the 1st day of school for the kids. Guess they must be happy as they got to see their friends.

It's 2008!!

Getting stress as school is reopening tmr. Stayed at home to coach the kids in their tuition work. Veona's work is getting more and more diffcult especially the comprehesion. The words in the comprehesion are so difficult and I'm really worried that she might not know how to do.

Supposed to have dinner with Mil as it's her birthday. But someone stepped on her tail again and so she's not in a good mood. Felt so sad. We always wanted her to be happy but it's really very difficult to please her. Sigh. Made kennie so sad too.

Went to find Mil to give her the red packet for her birthday. Her mood is still not feeling very good.

Went to look for Mum. She bought Lim Chee Guan's BBQ meat for me. Though it's a very popular brand, I don't find it fantastic. Mum's skin condition getting better, hope she will fully recover soon.
