Time flies so fast. It's already the last day of 2008. Looking back, much has happened this year. I'm not making any resolution next year. Just hope all my beloved one will be healthy, have a stable job, the kids will study hard and get good result and everyone to stay happy always.

Kennie worked OT again. Planned to have lunch with her at NYNY but she worked till 2+. In the end, we takan Karin to fetch her back from office. Anyway not really takan cause Karin and the kids are also traveling aimlessly towards Changi Airport after lunch as they will only be meeting us at 3+.

Went ECP for blading and cycling. As usual, the kids bladed why we jogged beside them. Kevin and family joined us too. After seeing Kevin and the rest cycle, the kids also wanted to cycle. In the end, they cycled bare footed and dirtied their whole legs. Really can't stand them. Dinner at ECP food centre. Nothing special about their food but business was really good.

This is how we spend the last day of 2009. No party, no clubbing and no countdown. Actually we countdown at home while watching TVB drama and drinking wine.

What was Kennie doing in such a small bicycle?

Was on Child Sick leave today. Veona has been having headache for more than 10 days and we were really very worried. Doc suspected that it could be Sinus infection and prescribed antibiotics, nose spray and tablets for her. Just hope everything will be fine after taking the medicine.

Slacked at Mil's place the whole day.

We are back to Blk 347 Jurong East FC for BF again. This time we tried Joo Siah Bak Kut Teh. It's those peppery version but the soup is much salty as compared to Ah Hwa's. The plus point is it only cost $4 for a bowl of Bak Kut Teh with unlimited serving of soup and the meat is really very tender (1 of the best I ever tried). We even witnessed a family of ugly Singaporean packeting the soup home. That's really very disgusting.

Bo Bo Cha Cha for dessert.

Went West Mall for shopping and watched 'Yes Man', starring Jim Carrey. 'Yes Man' is a delightful little comedy which is funny and teaches some pretty valuable lessons.

The kids playing some racing game in Arcade.

Attended Angel and Ji Kai's Wedding at Raffles Marina. This is the first time we attended alfresco type of wedding. Wonder if there's any wet weather plan but it's blessing that all went well this evening. Angel and Ji Kai arrived from a Yacht and marched in for their wedding solemnisation. Almost didn't get a chance to talk to the newly wed but luckily managed to have a brief chat with them. Time really flies, think it has been more than 4 to 5 years since I last met them. Happy Marriage to them.

Went to David's house in the afternoon. His house is quite cool as he's staying in a penthouse with a mini swimming pool. It's a bit ulu though as it's situated right towards the end of Pasir Ris. We had BBQ at his house and all the preparation of food was done by him. We contributed fried Bee Hoon and Kennie's speciality, mango pomelo dessert. So paiseh as my Bee Hoon was very bland. Tasted so horrible.

The kids enjoyed themselves as they got to swim and there are also many children (David - 2 daughters, Cindy - 3 daughters and 1 son and Grace - 1 daughter) to play with them.

Chatting and coffee session after BBQ. Really like his coffee maker, it makes fragrant cappuccino, espresso and latte.

Our lunch - my cooking. Spaghetti Vongole with white wine. Vongole means clams in Italian.

Nice view from his house

Was on "Off" in the afternoon. Went shopping alone and I really enjoyed shopping alone as I have more time to shop for things that I like to see or buy. Bought a board game Ugly Ugly Ugly from the Minds Cafe at Boat Quay. The kids will be very happy as I like to play this game.

Went to Audiohouse and was actually quite tempted to buy a SLR. Wanted to buy a Nikon or Canon but was recommended by the SE to buy a Sony instead. I'm confused now so better surf the net to check out the review for these 3 brands.

It's Christmas Day. A day of joy and sharing.

Bf at Blk 347 Jurong East Food Centre and there are plenty of nice food there. Didn't know such a place existed at west side of S'pore cause west side is famous for lousy food. We only tried the fish soup stall, chicken rice and dessert stall today. The fish soup is quite tasty and the serving is also a lot and I like their belancan chilli. Will be back for the Bak Kut Teh as there are lots of positive reviews on it.

Went to Sis's house for our Christmas Celebration and she prepared a nice spread for us. Didn't drive there as I was expecting to drink more today but in the end didn't drink much as I was having a very bad headache.

It's Christmas Eve today.

As per every year, we had a mini family gathering at Karin's house to countdown to Christmas. Instead of potluck this year, Karin ordered the food from catering service. It's quite ex, at around $28 pax per person and the food is not very nice and worth it for the price we paid.

We enjoyed ourselves to the fullest today as the kids actually bought us presents and even include a mini lucky draw. This is how the lucky draw goes. It starts from the older to the youngest. We will put our hand into the nicely decorated tissue box and pick the prize. The prizes are all sweets, chocolates, and the lucky one who pick a coloured paper will get a file. Though it's just some small prizes, it's the innovative idea and thought that warm our heart.

Kevin and Alison also planned some games for the kids. They played guess who is the leader and also games like the player will try to squeeze themselves into a piece of newspaper. The newspaper will be smaller each turn and the last man standing is the winning.
