It’s my Bday. I’m 31 now.

Went to in law’s place to fetch the kids to Piano. It’s the last lesson for Veona. She will be having her piano lesson at Ms Teh’s house from next month onwards. Was greeted by a present surprise when I reached my in law’s place. I thought Karin and granny came to wish me happy bday when I saw them there. But was even shocked when they started singing a birthday song to me and a cake was brought out. That was century since I blow a bday cake. Tks Karin for the surprise.

Met Agnew and Joreen at lot 1 after Veona’s piano lesson. We went to Central for dinner. It was Agnew’s treat this time. We had Manhattan Fish. Was generally disappointed with the food as I felt it’s a bit funny to include the rice in the platter. But serving was huge and it’s definitely enough to satisfy our appetite. Shopped at central and saw my neighbour(working in Lee Hwa) and Sim(Cant remember his full name. Working in Harvey Norman). We proceeded to Chinatown for dessert.

Went clubbing at Powerhouse again. It’s a last minute call from Perky. Song was almost the same as last night and we finished the remaining of the bottle before we proceed to Boiler room. I didn’t drink much that night as I need to go to sweep tomb the next day. Kennie was a good gal tonight, as she didn’t drink at all. The songs played at Boiler room were so much better then PH. Think I will not be going to PH so frequent already.

Went to Dragonfly and that place is as rowdy as ever. Didn’t see Sly there and heard that he was no longer singing there. Most of the attention goes to the young handsome singer and the guitarist. William scorpion is losing his charm. Think he will be faced out soon.

Had supper at Station Kitchen. Kennie had the chicken soup ramen while Perky and I had the egg prata. We waited for quite a while for the prata and we expect the prata to be hot when it’s served to us. Much to our disappointment, both the curry and prata were very cold. The only consolidation was the portion was quite big and the curry was very spicy hot. Kennie must be very happy as she got to take supper after clubbing. That’s something that she has been longing for quite sometime.

Though I’m on off today, I still woke up early in the morning to send my kids to my in law’s house. Serviced my car at C&C. Got to return back in the afternoon to collect it. Went to visit mum at sis’s house. It’s a standard practice to visit her on my bday yearly. Visited her in advance this year. Chatted with her and played with Cara and Crystal.

Met Kennie for lunch at Orchard. We had lunch at Lawry’s Rib. There’s a promotion by citibank. $48 includes 2 set meal. We will just need to top up $10 for soup of the day/Salad, coffee and dessert. We ordered a Chef’s ribeye and catch of the day for the main course and strawberry truffle and don’t know what pudding. The soup was nice and so was the ribeye. The meat was very tender and though some part of it was red, but it was cooked to the right standard. The fish was so so. As for the dessert, the strawberry was disappointing. Kennie commented that it tasted like soak cake. Yee.. The pudding was nice though it tasted funny when we first put it to our mouth.

Shopped for a while at Far East and went back home to watch TV series. Went back to C&C to collect my car and meet Agnew there. Joreen didn’t join us as she’s having another appointment with her ex colleague. Dinner at Hilltop restaurant. Dinner was good with garlic fried rice, king prawn, tou fu, pork, sotong and mushroom.

Went to Bugis to fetch Joreen and we proceeded to St James. Attendance: Agnew, Joreen, Clarence and wife, Perky, Alvin, Kennie, Mathew and Daphne. Mat rushed down to join us after I told him that it’s my bday. So touched.

Powerhouse was boring today. The songs suck. Didn’t dare to drink much as I didn’t want to spoil my bday the next day. In the end, it seems that it’s Alvin’s bday as he keeps asking people to drink. He ordered a bottle for us. Oh yes, I forgot to mention that the free champagne tasted horrible. Think Jo got Gastric due to drinking it. In the end, Agnew and Jo went back quite early. We also left quite early at around 2+.

Sigh.. Kennie got gastric pain again.

Run in the morning. Took my own sweet time to run and still managed to clock around 22 mins. Attended another 2 meeting today. Sian. Sian. Sian.

But something to look forward to. I was quite happy that I got 1.3mth of PB. Hehe.

Monday Blue. What a boring day. 2 meeting in roll. Got to attend a meeting with the big shots in my organization. Movement was restricted and I didn’t dare to go to the toilet.

Breakfast at Mei Chin Market. Went to Kennie’s office. Went to visit Grandma and chatted for a while. Met William (Kids’ Godfather) and her wife to be for dinner at Clementi BBQ fish. Had not met him for 2 years, times really past so fast. He will be getting married on 21 Jun but my family would miss it as we are in Taipei. So sad. Supposed to give him a treat but in the end he pad for it. They even gave the kids an Ang Bao each. The kids enjoyed playing with his wife to be. Soon they will call her Godmother. Her wife is quite friendly and she’s from Nanjing and working in Guangzhou.

Went to AMK Hub early in the morning as Kennie is doing her rebonding. Tried the Bak Chor Mee at AMK central. Think it’s quite a popular stall as there’s some newspaper-cutting etc. It’s quite tasty

The Stylist advised Kennie not to rebond her hair first as she’s worried that it will damage her hair. In the end, she went for the Treatment package. 4 treatments for the price of 3. Total damage is around $300.

Bring the kids for Piano lesson at lot 1. It’s the second last lesson and after which, Veona will be having the lesson at Ms Teh’s house.

Watched Mr Bean at West Mall with Karin, Karen, Venscent, Lucas, Justin, Jodie and my dears. Quite a funny show and the kids enjoyed the show very much

Went back to Office to clear some outstanding stuff and went back home to rest. Called TS Hotel Taipei to book the hotel room. $2480 NT per night. Don’t know if it’s worth it to go on F&E.

On 2 days MC due to back pain. Doctor was late as he explained to me that he just visited his Mum in hospital as she’s having cancel. I sensed there’s something fishy in this Clinic. People go in and out within seconds.

Went back home to rest, surf net and help Veona to do her School Project.

I’m so excited. Will be going to Taipei from 15 to 21 Jun. Booked SQ flight for 4 pax costing $2028. Thought it’s quite expensive but I find it’s quite worth it as compared to taking budget air. Jetstar cost around $1900+. Around $100 more I can have the comfort of food and entertainment in plain.

Supposed to go clubbing at Powerhouse tonight to celebrate sis’s bday but sis cancelled it. A bit sick and tired of clubbing already. Maybe have been clubbing too frequently for the past few months. Maybe I won’t be celebrating my bday in club. Will stay low profile.

Visited Lee’s house to collect the medical receipt. Slack a while and went to take my IPPT. Very stress, as I’m worried that I might fail my IPPT. Was amazed by the electronic IPPT stations that were implemented recently. Managed to attain Silver and got $200 incentive. Gave $50 each to Kennie and Ah Mi.

Fully recharged after a long sleep. Had Bf at Railway Maill. There’s nothing great to talk about the food there. Think will never go back to eat again. Area cleaned the house. Visited Mum and we went to Chinatown with them. Checked out the price of the Taiwan tour. Still couldn’t make up my mind to go F&E or to take up the package. There’s Pro and Con to each of them. F&E is much cheaper (by at least 1.2k) and we can take our sweet time to shop. But we will miss out a lot of fun, as we do not know the place well. For packaged tour, the itinerary is very tight. Spend around 7 days rushing from the North to the South. There’s very little time to rest.

Went to Ah Mi’s house for Dinner. Alison cooked Fish and Chips while Kevin cooked Beef Steak for us. Thumbs up. I will try to cook my own Beef Steak soon.

Went to Casurina for the Hong Kong Noodle. The standard has dropped tremendously. I remembered Hong Konger managed the place previously but it’s by China people now. The hygiene there really CMI. There’s lots of stain of the utensils.

Reached Wild Wild Wet and the kids enjoyed themselves. Veona is really an adventurous gal. She tried the big U shape slide and she enjoyed it. Videl on the other hand was quite scared of the water. She sticks to us and was very stressed and afraid that we might drop her to the water. It’s a blessing that it’s not raining today and the weather has been quite crowdy till around 1+. It’s very hot after that and we got quite a bad burnt. All of us look like lobster. We had sandwiches that were prepared by Ah Mi. So nice of her.

We went to Tampines Ikea and Giant. That place is crowded with people and we left after a while. Went to King Albert park to do some marketing as Kevin is cooking for us tmr.

The kids were very excited as we are bringing them to Wild Wild Wet tomorrow. Jodie came to our house to sleep tonight. Poor Justin, we got to leave him out, as we are not able to look after so many kids in Wild Wild Wet.

Supposed to bring the kids out but I’m having hangover. Feel like vomiting but nothing came out. Struggle myself up and took a cab to Ah Mi’s house. Guessed the kids must be very disappointed that we didn’t bring them out. Poor Kennie. We took turn to get hangover. She’s having a very bad headache and gastric problem. Think we should cut down clubbing and drinking.

Went Powerhouse with Kennie, Perky and Alvin. Finished our remaining bottle and ordered another. By 1, Perky was already very drunk. Didn’t really dance much as we were enjoying our drinks. Went back around 2+ and I vomited when I alighted from the cab.

Clocked 20.52 for my 5km run. Heard there’s some pay revision for us. Hope it’s true,

Was damn shack after the takan session this morning, Ran till my lungs are going to burst.

Mathew jio us to club today as Daphne is working on Sun. Actually I don’t feel like going as I dislike changes and why shd I give in as we have confirmed earlier to club on Sat. But gave in as I wanted to drink the whole bottle that was reminding and Agnew and Jo couldn’t join us on Sat as Agnew’s Grandfather passed away today.

Mat confirmed that they would reach at 10.30pm but knowing his pattern, Kennie and I took my own sweet time by taking a bus down to Vivo City. A very long journey that took almost an hour and backside was very pain after the long ride. As usual, they were not there yet and we went for our Supper at Vivo City. They finally arrived at around 11.45 pm and they were dead drunk already.

Powerhouse was very packed and we went back to our old spot. Saw April there and she’s was clubbing without her Bf’s knowledge and I guessed she’s doing something fishy behind his back. Also saw Jac Jac there and she was commenting that she’s very sad that my wife’s figure is much better than her though she’s a mother of 2.

Drank 1.5 bottle and went to Dragonfly. Stayed there for a while and went to Broiler Room. Mat sprained his leg while walking, as he’s already dead drunk. Wanted to create troubles in Dragonfly but lucky nothing happened.

On leave today. Went Orchard for Window Shopping. Wanted to get a Non Camera phone but there’s no stock in Paragon M1. Ordered 1 and went to Bugis to collect. Saw a nicer Non camera phone but the colors available are very obiang. In the end, didn’t manage to buy 1. Went to visit Mum at Sis’s house. She gave me an Ang Pao of $168 for my birthday. A bit Kiasu, my birthday is end of the month and she gave me the Ang Pao now. Happy 3 8 Woman day.

Was quite sad that Perky didn’t join me tonight as he went for a wisdom tooth extraction yesterday. Almost cancelled the clubbing but in the end went with Alvin and Kennie. It’s free entry for Ladies and they got 5 drinks on the house. Alvin and I very cheapo cause we shared the free drinks with Kennie. It’s very crowded at Powerhouse and surprisingly there were a lot of Malays. I thought their favorite Hangout place is Momo. There’s also many Ang Mohs and they are all eyeing on the Chinese gals and flirting with them. The songs played (more R&B) are much better then weekends. Dragonfly is not as pack as weekends but they played nice Retro song. We went to Gallery Bar to chill out and ordered a jug of Bourbon Coke and a plate of Wings and fries, and we finished our pathetic bottle of Hennsesy.

A normal Sun again. I'm wondering how to make our life more meaningful so that everyone of us are enjoying our weekend to the fullest

Went to Kennie's Office again. Was teaching the kids in their homework. I'm not that worried about Videl though she more to the lazy type. But I felt that she's more street smart which will bring her lots of advantage.

Veona was quite diligent but she's more on the slower and careless type. I'm really quite worried about her.

Went to Clementi for Lunch and saw Michael there. Had our favourite Sesame Chicken and also Ah Balling. Ya. Forgot to mention that it's the last day of Lunar New Year and also the Chinese Valentine Day. Got to wait for another 350 days for the new year.

Went to BPSS to shop for Veona's goggles. Went back to Ah Mi's hse for dinner. Veona slept early as she's having a terrible headache.

Woke up with no hangover. Lucky as 3 of us drunk a bottle of Hennesy yesterday and not mentioning that Kennie only drink a bit.

Did some area cleaning as Kennie's frds are going to visit us today

Ann and sons, Soo Mee, An Meow and husband came to our house. Went to Soo Mee's house after tat. Got lost while finding Soo Mee's house. In the end, Soo Mee said I scolded her. Think she's too sensitive. A fierce woman indeed. Pls lor. I'm the driver and Ah Meow is following behind me. It's quite dangerous if I was to change my direction suddenly.

Dinner at Bukit Batok Central and went to Ann's house. Send Soo Mee home after that

TGIF. Having Fri mood again.

Went to West Coast Park for run. Was running heavily when we reached there and spend the whole afternoon inside Mac hoping that the run will stop. But in the end the run was cancelled.

Was feeling an urge to club and so started asking my frds to club. In the end only Perky joined me. The UOB VIP card was really a good card. Can just enter dragonfly without queueing. Though it's only 3 of us but we still enjoyed ourselves. The music at Powerhouse sucks but after a few glasses of drink, all music sounded the same. Went to Dragonfly for the live band but left after a while as I was too tired. Think age is catching up on me. Hehe
