Videl is back from camping. Keep complaining that she's very hungry as she has been eating instant noodle and can food for the past few days. Wa lau. Is this some kind of survival camp? Her limbs were covered with sand flies bites. Poor baby.

Went MS to change Yen for our coming holiday.  Feeling the excitement of our holiday. woohoo.

Korean BBQ for dinner again. Tried The Corner Place Korean BBQ at MS.

Dental appt and lunch at Central Hong Kong Cafe at Star Vista. It is most probably one of the cheaper food options in Star Vista but surprisingly the standard of the food is good.

Attended Faisal's daughter's bday celebration at Costa Sand's Resort

On leave today to service my car and also to do the biannually inspection. Serving was fast as there's no major repair. A sign of relief.  Passed the STA inspection. Worried that they will fault my bumper.

Lunch at Oppa Korean bbq. Always craving for Korean BBQ. Know it's super unhealthy but we just cant resist the temptation. Met a primary sch frd but he couldnt recognise me. He opened a Laundry shop at JEM. Added him to our Primary sch group chat in Whatsapp.

Videl went camping at Pulau Ubin for the next few days. Will miss her.

Dinner at our favourite Teochew porridge place at Cheong Chin Nam.

Happy Deepavali to all my Hindu friends and happy holiday to the rest of my friends. Shiok. Slept till 10+. Fully recharged after a good night sleep. Just slack at home the afternoon. Finished updating all my outstanding blog posts. Next is to fine-tune our itinerary for our Japan trip. Can't wait for the day to come. Woohooo. Long awaited holiday for the year.

Sat
O level has started. The final burst of fire for Veona. Actually I was quite disappointed by what her tuition told us. He said he can see that Veona is losing her confidence in her Science and she's giving up already. He sound as though she will fail her Science even if she study non stop for the next few weeks. Cause her foundation is very weak and she does not understand most of the topics. Sigh. Without Science, her choices in Poly are very limited. & she's also thinking of giving up combined humanities.

At Hong Kong Street Jurong Point.  It makes me feel as if I am in Hong Kong.  Just take a look at the neon signboards – this place really replicates the hustle and bustle of the popular Mongkok district in Hong Kong, known for its Ladies’ Street (女人街)  and the neon-bathed shopping streets.

Dinner at Legendary Hong Kong 港饮港食. It serves familiar Hong Kong cafe fare like dim sum, noodles, congee, roast meats and signature beverages such as milk tea. The interior of this restaurant really looks like the eateries in Hong Kong.

Sun
Lunch with Agnew at Parkway Parade. Veona got her first pay check.

Our lunch at Paparich. The food is not that fantastic. Hawker food but with a higher price tag.

Went jogging despite having back pain. Managed to jog for 2km. The pain went off after running for a while. So does jogging actually helps in loosening the stretch on my lower back? Shall monitor and see.

Brunch at Quentin's Eurasian restaurant at Eurasian Community House. As we were early, we toured around the Community House. Free admittance. Eurasians share a unique mix of cultures and ethnicity, being the descendants of Europeans and Asians. The Eurasian Community House is a good place to get a first look into the history and heritage of Singapore's Eurasian community.

We were too greedy. Everything looks nice so we ordered too many dishes and the serving is very generous. My main purpose here is to try their Devils Curry. We tried the Devils Curry at Malacca before and it was very nice. Expected it to be the same here but it's a bit disappointing. Maybe it's because the food is not very hot when it's served (they served all the food together) and there's a big ceiling fan above us. I love their black ink calamari though.

Kennie looks so cute in this photo.

Brought the kids to Katong Park to see the Rainbow Eucalyptus Heritage Tree. The tree sheds patches of its outer bark at different time, displaying beautiful colouful.

Kennie baked cheese cake. Dont look very taste but it's very delicious.
