Didnt go anywhere today. Just went marketing at Tiong Bahru Market and had breakfast there.

Min Nan Pork Ribs Prawn Noodle. It is one of the ailing businesses that has been revived on the Channel 8 show Buzzing Cashier. Following its TV fame, it became popular with long queue. But imo, it's really not very nice. Eating the pork rib is like eating something super duper hard and elastic. The chilli is also not very nice.

Our home cooked lunch. Everything is cooked by Kennie except for the steamed fish. Hehe
Favourite white fungus soup.
White is highly nutritious and has long been regarded as a very healthy ingredient. It has health benefits such as improving blood circulation, and strengthening respiratory system. It is also said to have cancer fighting and anti-aging properties.

Another of our favourite. Broccoli. It is high in Vitamin C and has anti cancer properties, and may prevent heart disease.
Belachan Prawn
Steamed Pomfret Teochew style.

Brewed Dang Gui (chinese angelica root) chicken soup for Veona as she has just finished her menses. According to Chinese TCM, Dangui is a herb used to tonify and move blood and relieve menses pain.

Ingredients include red dates, 2 chicken thigh meat, dried scallops, 8 slices of Gang Gui, 2 x hard boiled eggs for added nutrients. Double boil for 2 hours.

HSBC Treetop Walk

Selamat Hari Raya Puasa to all Muslims.

Instead of lazing on our bed, we woke up early for our keep-fit exercise regime. Our KPI: To shed some weight and not be a couch potato.

Our starting point at Venue Drive Car park at 7.15am.

Have lots of fun hiking, camwhoring and talking rubbish. Tired but fun.

HARDEST part because it was a very long and steep slope

Finally reached the suspension bridge after 1 hour of walk but the bridge will only be opened at 8.30am so we waited for around 15mins.

No more turning back once you reach the suspension bridge. Turn back NOW if you are scare of height. Lol
The suspension bridge is 250m in length and 25m in height.

The suspension bridge offers a magnificent bird's eye view of the canopy.

Tired tired. Time to relac for a while.

Having completed the entire trail of 7km in 2.45 hours, it was time for us to really chill and take a break! Brunch at Upper Thomson. Started off with Yi Jia Bakery as the Habitat Coffee will only be opened at 10.30am.  Nice bakery shop.

Then to Habitat Coffee for the meal course. Another nice cafe in my must visit list. Getting addicted to the nice cafes that are popping up in Singapore.

We had
Egg Benedicts
Big Ben
Cheesynara
Longan fusion tea
& my latte
