School Reopen

Sian. School reopen today. Must buck up for this semester. No more tuition for Videl as her tuition teacher can only teach her once a week due to her tight schedule. Dun think once a week can help her much so quit the tuition instead. Can save a bit of money but will be very siong for me. I will need to double up as her tuition teacher.

The frequencies of Veona's band lessons will be increased from once a week to thrice a week. That's really a waste of time imo. Hope it wont affect her studies.

A Visit to S'pore Science Centre

Visit to Science Centre. It started off quite well, everything seems so interesting, exploring every exhibits as we go along. Then we watched the imax movie, Sea Rex at Omni Theatre. Super boring show. So boring that Kennie and I fell asleep. We returned to Science Centre after the show. Everything seems so boring after that. Left at 2pm and went shopping at Orchard.

Lunch at the famous Ayam Penyet at Lucky Plaza. Wrong move to go to Lucky Plaza cause the place is super packed. Packed with all the filipino maids.

Went window shopping again.

Band Performance at Vivo City

Spend the whole afternoon shopping at Orchard. It's the GSS so there's quite a no. of good promotions going on. So many things that we wanted to buy, Nespresso machine, branded bag, designer watch, air con, clothes. The list is never ending but haha, money no enough. So ended up window shopping only.

Veona didnt join us today cause she went back to school at 1 to prepare for tonight's performance at Vivo City. & of course we were at Vivo to support her. The performance is at 7 but we reached there before 5.30. Very kaisu right. Reached there early to chop a good sit.

Oh btw, I was really happy today cause her frds commented that I looked too young to be her father. Her tuition said that too recently. She was quite shocked when Veona called me Dad cause she thought I'm his brother. keke. But I was quite sad yestersay cause 2 of my collegues said I aged a lot recently. So sad. So which is which. Think I need to go for botox session liao.

Early dinner at Food Republic Vivo City

The school really cmi. Gave her a big size uniform which make her looked like a clown. They have been training v hard for today's performance during the June Holiday. In the end, the sec 1 only played 1 song and left the stage while the rest continued the performance. But well, at least it's an exposure for them.

The VIP. Karin Ko. She's back in Sg cause her mil is critically ill. Hope she recoveres soon.

Our supper - Prima Taste Laksa. Very ex @ $2.50 a packet. Only got mee and gravy, and no other ingredients. Considering that we can get the normal laksa at the same price. The gravy tasted almost like normal laksa but the noodle cmi. Too chewy already and it took 10mins to cook the noodle before it soften.

Brunch at Prive - Bakery Cafe @ Marina at Keppel Bay. Nice view of luxury yacht berthing at the marina. A nice place to spend our lazy sunday morning.

The food is nice, portion is huge and price is quite affordable.

Dinner at Everything with Fries at Holland Village. Reason for going to Holland Village - to check out Pet Station & Pet Lovers Centre. I still havent given up the thought to own a dog though I know a lot of effort is required to look after it.

Though the restaurant name is called Everything with Fries, only the main course comes with fries. We get to choose from 5 types of seasoning: Original, Curry, Salt & Vinegar, Sour Cream & Onion, Garlic & Herbs. There are 2 types of fries, shoestring (thin) and straight cut (thick)

Nice food. Must visit if you are at Holland Village.
