Karin's Bday Treat

Shopping for Toiletries at People's Park Complex. Though the toiletries are much cheaper there but a visit there will burn a hole in my pocket.

A light bf at Nanyang Cafe. Finally get to try the orange ciabatta kaya toast. Haha.. I'm so mountain tortoise. Cause I thought the orange ciabatta got its name from the orange kaya but it's actually normal kaya that they are using. It's the ciabatta that is special. Baked with caramelised orange peel, the ciabatta carries a hint of citrus fragrance. But anyway, the original ciabatta tasted better imo.

Queuing up again for food. Seems like a nice Yong Tau Foo stall at People's Park FC. Not worth queuing.

Homecooked lunch.

A simple bday celebration with Karin at Tea Party Cafe at Sixth Ave. Looking at my previous post, it has been 3 years since we last came here. Wow.. how time flies, it seems only recently that we were here. The place was quite packed as compared to last time. But the board games are still the same pathetic few. We liked the place cause it's very cosy and they served cheap nice food. The games are complimentary so we just need to pay for the food unlike Minds Cafe and Settlers Cafe.

As the name of the shop suggested, they are popular for their different varieties of tea

Mid Autumn Festival

It's Mid Autumn Festival but the moon is so far away. According to the news, the moon is the smallest in dont know how many years.

Rushed home after dinner at Mil's place and went down to carry lantern and play with candles. Super rush cause we have only only an hour to do that plus to eat mooncake.

Look at the smoke that was produced by the firework.

Clearing up the mess after the fun

Donated our lanterns

Videl's Grade 3 Exam

Was on leave today to bring Videl to her piano grade 3 exam.

Bf at Tanjong Pagar FC as Kennie missed the food there. Luckily the traffic is not so heavy though it's peak hour.

The famous Shark Meat Lor Mee. Still cant find a reason to say it's nice.

Kennie's favourite Ipoh Hor Fun

Fetched Videl from her school for the piano exam. We have made up our mind to let her quit the piano lesson if she failed this exam cause she's really very lazy. Always dont want to practice her piano (afternote: she has just passed her piano exam while Veona has passed with Merit for her Grade 5)

Send her back to Mil's house as she has tuition in the afternoon.

Our lunch at Cambridge FC.

GRPS Family Carnival

GRPS proudly presented their Family Carnival for their students and family members. They have invited Uncle Ringo to be the official event Co. But it looks kind of boring to Kennie and I but it seems that the kids are very much attracted to the rides.

Most of Veona's frds are beginning to transform into Ah Lian. Worried that Veona will fall into the wrong companion.

Manual Operated Ride

Lucky Draw. GOH is the MP for that area

Hair Dyeing service

Hit the bullseye. The Discipline Master was thrown into the water. Whahaha

Our lunch at Jacks Place BP. We are nvr a fan of Jack's Place and this visit confirmed ourdecision not to patronise it again.

Dinner at Tung Lok Arena Country Club using the $50 discount voucher for Standard Chartered credit card.

The portion is very small and we couldn't have enough of the 1 small pathetic crab. Is it because we are using the voucher that we are shortchanged?
