Ramen Santouka - The best Ramen in town?

So tired after a night of clubbing but still have to wake up to fetch Veona and Videl from Karin's place. Then send Veona to Teacher Connie's place for tuition.

Dinner at Ramen Santouka at The Central. Voted No. 3 by Standard Chartered https://www.hungrygowhere.com/top10/Ramen/ and No. 1 by fans and readers of Ieatishootipost.sg. I beg to differ as felt that the soup is too oily and also the pork taste is too strong. Maybe it's just me cause that's what Jap Ramen is famous for.

Though this Sticky Sweet shop has been around for quite sometime, it suddenly drawn our attention to it. Was quite amazed at how they turned simple ingredients into such fanciful sweets. Small capital big return.

Shanghai Dolly

Clubbing with Kennie. Yes, only the 2 of us since we were lazy to jio others. Went Clarke Quay looking for free entry deal. Free entry at Lunar with Amex but too bad, it's not applicable to 3rd party Amex card. So ended going to Shanghai Dolly since we have never been there before and also free entry for ladies. Cover for guy is quite ex at $28 with 1 pathetic glass of housepour. Like Dragonfly and Lunar, it's 45mins live band followed by 45 mins dance and then live band again...... The songs they spinned are very nice.. R&B remixed with Techno beat so it's Techno R&B and they also have Kpop, the latest trend for the youngsters.

Though it's only the 2 of us, we enjoyed ourselves especially after a few drinks. Enjoying the live band and as usual cam whoring, and also looking at some funny aunties dancing. The funny part is that the dance floor is actually on the stage beside the deejay. So it will be very awakard if you are the only few dancing on it and you will be the centre of attraction. The deejay also speaks in Mandarin, asking people to raise their hands, clap hand etc in Mandarin. So funny.

Exam is over. Time to relax...... for a few days

Prelim and SA2 is over so let the kids enjoy R&R for a few days. Brunch at Epicurious Cafe at Rail Mail. There's quite a no. of restaurants serving Bf/Brunch menu, will come back to try the rest. This is our pick cause the menu seems the cheapest. hehe..

Our picks as shown below. Was quite disappointed with the food as the portion is very little and the presentation of the food is not very nice. Using roaster print chinaware in a western restaurant. haha.. Fusion, when west meets east, this is what i call innovative.

Brought Mil to the Chinese Sinseh as she has been complaining of pain on her thumb. Have not been bringing her here due to NDP and other commitement.

Look what we spotted. An inverted Rainbow.

Sigh.. Videl's eyesight worsen again so brought her to the Optician at Lot One. Waste money again. Manage to persuade to buy the white frame spectator as it's the trend now. I also made one for myself.

CA2

Sian.. nothing much to blog.. Kids having CA2 next week so spend most of the time revising. My blog getting more and more boring. Lazy to blog and lack of details and also not updating regularly.

Visited Mum on Sat and she gave them a digital cam each. Old model but the kids love it. So all the photos were taken using their cameras.
