We were at the hospital the whole night to look after Videl. She's feeling much better today and can laugh and joked with the nurses and doctor already. The food at the children's ward tasted much better and look more presentable than other ward.

Videl looking naughty

Looking happy already cause her lunch is here.

Enjoying her lunch

Fish set

Cocktail fruit.

She was discharged at around 4+. Thank God. But Doctor cautioned that the next 48 hrs is still critical as internal bleeding can happen after 72 hours. Just let any bad thing happen to me if there's any.
Was on half day leave in the afternoon. Had lunch with Kennie and went to Tint Master to remove my window tinting before going down to STA for car inspection. Quite sad that I have to remove the tinting as it's not LTA compliance.

Went down to Ayer Rajah STA for the car inspection. Quite worried that they might fail my car as my bumper is too lower and it's protruding out, and also the tinting of my headlight. Luckily, the inspection went quite smoothly.

Gave my colleagues a treat at La Mei Zi. Got a shock when Videl's form Teacher called me. Videl had a fall during recess and she's having a headache and tummy pain. In the end, Kennie couldn't join us for dinner as she need to rush back home to look after Videl. Anyway, I didn't really have the mood and appetite to eat. Keep worrying about Videl. Left after a while as I need to rush her to A&E as she vomited and complained of giddiness.

She vomited again in A&E and was warded as the Doc was worried that there might be internal bleeding in her brain. Need to put her under observation for 1 day. The nurses at KK are actually quite good (they close 1 eye) as they allowed Kennie and I to stay with Videl. Actually, they only allowed 1 adult to accompany the child. Kennie slept shared a bed with Videl while I slept on the extra bed given (cost $2 for 1 night).

My replacement has reported for work this morning. I have no problem teaching her as her understanding ability is superb. Just need to explain to her once or max twice and she could fully understand it. Anyway it's too early to judge her working attitude.

Took my IPPT in the evening though I'm having a very bad flu. Luckily I didn't collapse. Though I didn't get Silver award but I'm already very contended as I got $100 for incentive award and I'm finally out of the RT programme. It's really a waste of time going to the RT which I can use it to do better things.
Just hope I will never return for RT again.

Happy Deepavali to all Hindu Friends.

Can't really remember what I have done these 2 days. Spend most of the time revising with the kids, went to RT on Sun and visited Granny and Mum.

Some nice food that we have eaten these 2 days

Hock Lam Beef Noodle (22 China Street #01-01 Far East Sq)

This is the best Beef Noodle that we have eaten. The meat is really juicy and tender and the sauce is thick and fragrant. There's even salted vege and grinded peanut added. But 1 thing is for sure, it's really very expensive. The smallest bowl cost $5.5o while the bigger one cost $7.50. The soup is also very saltish. Maybe it will not taste so saltish if it's the soup version and the shop is also very stingy. Each customer only get a small bowl of soup.

Food at Bukit Timah FC.

Recently Tampines Round Market was voted the Best Hawker Centre in Sngapore, I beg to differ. I would think the food at Bukit Timah FC has much varieties and better food though it might not be the no. 1 FC. & it's really quite difficult to choose which is the best FC as each FC is different from another.

The Katong laksa at Bukit Timah (but I can't remember the name for the stall but it's definitely not the one opposite a pasta shop.). The gravy is really thick and spicy and the ingredients like the prawn and cookles are very fresh.

There's this stall at Bukit Timah FC that served really nice fish soup. & it's always not open when we visited them. Not only is the fish and the soup nice, they served special belancan chilli and chilli with bean paste. At least they put in the effort to suit the taste of the public with their varieties of chillis available.

Woke up with a sore throat.Must have eaten too much BBQ food. Just hope it will not lead to other sickness like fever, flu etc as I will be taking my IPPT on Tues.

Kennie and I prepared some home cooking. My cooking was super hot as usual, think our backside is going to feel it when we visit the toilet tmr :p

Kennie's signature dish. Braised bean curd stick, quail eggs and toufu.

Fried lady fingers. Kennie said it will ease constipation.

My ultimate chilli dish. Salted vege with Stingray.

Agnew helped me to change the pole light and the headlight for my car as I will be going for the car inspection soon. Sian. Have to remove my red pole light and white headlight, and replace it with the original. So ugly! A bit paiseh as it took up a lot of his time to change it.

Went shopping for toiletries at Chinatown. No appetite for dinner as I'm feeling a bit feverish. Dessert at Peoples Park Complex.

Sweet potatoes with ginger soup

Red bean paste

Beancurd stick with ginko barley soup

Almond paste

Ah balling with peanut soup

Mango pomelo with sago

Cam whoring with my new spectacle before going out.

So nice of my colleagues to organize a farewell celebration for me. It's a BBQ at 1 of my colleagues' house. They even invited those colleagues who have left the Co. like Norman, YP, ZX, XX and ZY to join us. Was quite touched that they put in so much effort to do it as I have always tht that I would just leave the Co. without much people noticing. We were at their clubhouse after lunch and started playing cards, mahjong and some even played squash. Ha.. and those who played squash, they stink after the games. Had quite an enjoyable time BBQing and drinking.

ZM even bought me a bottle of red wine, Tiramisu cake and a bottle of Choya Herb. The red wine is actually for me and I was still thinking of bringing it home to share with Kennie. Too bad, someone opened it despite my objection. I'm not trying to be stingy but I told him to open Aunty's bottle first and I will open mine after it's finished. But he knew that my bottle is good stuff so he wanted to try it. Agrrrr!!! Forget it as long as everyone is happy.

We had a mini bday celebration with the Oct Baby (Aunty and ZM)

This is the bottle of red wine that I'm talking about. There's a strong woody musky taste and it's quite nice but quite ex at around $50+.

Time to relax. On leave today and tmr. Don't know whether I will have the luxury to take leave when I'm in my new office so try to clear as much as I can now. Kennie was not working too as she's not feeling well. Accompanied her to see the GP and BF at Bukit Timah FC. Horrible. The journey there took 45mins thanks to the jam.

Breakfast was good as we ate our favourite Kway Chap. The best Kway Chap I ever ate. The beancurd and Chwee Kuey is nice too.

Slacked the rest of the day watching Movie and TVB drama series.

CHATEAU REYSSON 2005 (From France)
The dark ruby Reysson is a blend of 62% Merlot and 38% Cabernet Sauvignon

From Carrefour Wine Fair. Around $30+. Original Price is around $40+.

Didn't get a chance to try this wine at the Wine Fair but was highly recommended by the Promoter that it's a good wine. My review: Think the taste of the wine is more like those $20 budget wine instead of $40. Not worth it.

Defaulted RT this morning. Oops. I have defaulted twice already and would be changed for AWOL if I missed RT again.

Spend the whole Sun revising with the kids. Just bear for another 2 weeks and it will be over. We can go out and breathe the fresh air soon. :)

Spaghetti with mushroom soup. A very simple dish to prepare. Just pour in Campbell mushroom soup onto the spaghetti and a delicious homemade spaghetti is ready to be served.

Dinner at Taman Jurong FC. Just had Claypot Rice last Sun and we are craving for more. This stall was featured in a Channel U Variety show recently, definitely better than the Claypot Rice that we had eaten last Sun.

Piping hot Claypot Rice.

1 of the best Chilli to go with Claypot Rice

The soup they served is quite nice too.
