Supposed to run 4 rounds (total 8KM) around my camp today but in the end chao geng and ran 3 rounds instead. Really very shack as I have not ran for 2 weeks and have just recovered from flu.

Sian 1/2. My PSP cannot load all the emulators. The PSP just freeze when I tried to access the emulators. Siao liao. Tried calling Funsquarez for help and got those half F reply.

Shop assistant: "You got to bring down your PSP as I'm just a shop assistant. I don't know anything about fixing it. The experts here will help you to rectify it."

Stupid reply. Might as well pass the phone to the experts.

Managed to solve the problem after reading some PSP forums. Sometime I think the forums are the best place to find solutions.

Kanna parking summon today thanks to Videl Ng. Mon & Thurs are the days that I will visit the kids at my in law's place as Veona is having her tuition from 8 to 10pm. So I didnt bring them home on these days. Normally I will leave around 8+ after sending Veona for her tuition and making sure that Videl has completed her work.

Got delayed today as Videl keeps forgetting her spelling and I made her write and write all the words. Exceeded the parking timing and got a $10 fine. Luckily it's only $10. If it's $30, good luck to Videl. Ha

Figuring how to load homebrew and game iso into my PSP. Finally managed to load in NES, GBA and PC Engine emulators. I can play those old schools games now. Actually I preferred this type of games as compared to 3D games. It's so much easier to pay.

The gals are also very excited about the PSP as I have loaded in many children games. Maybe I should buy another PSP.

Finally bought a PSP at Funsquarez at Far East Plaza. Total Damage: $410 which include PSP, 4G memory card and casing.



The kids stayed at Karin's house yesterday and they went for foot massage today. I didnt even have the courage to try it till date. Some advices from the "doctor". Videl should drink more water and don't eat too much heaty food. He warned us that we are not to shout at her left ear and her liver is a bit unhealthy. Veona is generally ok but she should not drink so much water before going to bed.

Celebrated Justin's birthday at my in law's house. He's already 13 this year but I still feel that he's like a Pri school kids. His age is equal to the total of years Kennie and I have been together. He's also the first baby that I have carried. How time flies.

It's the yearly Armour Road Relay Competition today. Rushed back to camp to get the "Guess the winning team" tickets as I have forgotten to bring it back yesterday. The tickets are actually shared among Norman, Yap and I.

Saw a ROV bike driving up the MCP after I parked my car. Dont know what he's doing at this hour. Catching cars with illegal modication? Luckily he didnt see me.

Took Alice's car to Pasir Ris Camp. Felt so stressful inside her car as she's quite a kayu driver. Haha

The winning team for the Officers Team is 41 SAR while the Specialist team is 46 SAR. We won the first and second prize as we have predicted 46 SAR to be the winner for the Specialist Team. The prize is a PSP and a portable DVD player.

Just what I want since I was planning to buy one tomorrow. Anyway the bad news was that the version for the PSP is 3.50 so meaning to say I cannot play homebrew games. Will bring it back to office to auction it out. The money will be contributed to the Branch fund.

Alice, Yap and I went to Dailyscope for ice cream. We tried the durian flavour and it's quite nice.

Was on half day off. Went back home to slack.

Back to work today. Terrible feeling. Throat still pain, feel so tired, lots of work to clear and feeling mon blue. But the week is going to be over soon. Wanted to buy 4D today but they have stop accepting bet at 6pm. Luckily the no. didnt come out or I would have banged the wall. Stop dreaming of getting rich. Haha.

Was on MC yest and today. Woke up on Mon morning feeling feverish, sore throat and running nose. Hate the feeling of having sore throat. Feel so irriatating. But at least got to slack at home. Sleep, eat, surf net, watch TV.

Finally a weekend without OT. Thought we can enjoy ourselves today? Too bad, this didnt happen. Need to rest more as I havent recover fully.

Had dinner with mum and went to her house. Striked 4D. Starter prize 2727. we bought ibet for this no. $250x5=$1250. $1250/6 conbination. $208/5 person = $41++. Too bad it's not 2772 or 7227 or we will have won more. Try harder next week :p

Feeling better today, no more fever but was feeling quite lethargic. Can only sleep eat sleep eat. Hope will fully recover tomorrow so that we can enjoy the Sunday as it's really very bored to stay at home the whole day.

Had our Branch Cohesion at Sentosa today. Though not feeling well but still participate in the games. Got to be sporting mah. Really an unlucky day for me. First, I'm not feeing well. Hurt my knee while playing volleyball. Fell and hit my backside while play frisbee. Leg cramp when playing monkey ball in the water.

After the cohesion day, some of us went to Zhaoming's house to play Mahjong. Really not my today. Lose some money. 5 of us decided to share money to buy a no. that we derived out from the winning. 2772. Everyone of us contribute $10 for the 4D. Hope we can strike this weekend so that I can go Holiday in Dec. Haha

Didnt go anywhere special this weekend cause busy with the kids' homework. Finally watched Transformers on Sat. I could say it's really a very nice show. Lots of actions, nice fighting, transformation, nice graphics and of course it refreshes my childhood memories. I could see myself playing with the transformer toys. Can't wait for the sequel to be shown.

Usual stuff on Sun. The mention of the usual stuff makes my blood boil. Imagine the amount of effort that we put in for the kids for their piano lesson but nothing was gain out of it. They are not putting enough effort to practise their piano. They rather spent the time chatting, playing and doing nothing. Enough said. Just hope that they will buck up.

Had dinner at this Sakura International Buffet Restaurant at Clementiwood Park. This was the 2nd time that I tried this restaurant though the previous time was at Downtown East. I was hoping that the standard for this outlet could be better but was again disapponted with the food. The deco and setup of the restaurant and buffet was quite presentable. The ground floor is all the cooked food, BBQ stuff, salad, mee bla bla bla while the second level is sushi, sashimi, tepanyaki, pasta bla bla bla. We would have missed the second floor if a customer didnt tell us abt it. Shall not touch on why the food is not good, anyway it's just not good. But it's cheap really cheap($26+ for dinner) and that might be the reason why the place is quite packed. The concept is much similar to Vienna and Genhis Khan Restaurant. The latter is much expensive (around $40+) but the food is defintely better.

It's Fri the 13th. Luckily nothing bad happen today except for the bad durians experience.

Went to Peoples Park Complex to buy the rebonding shampoo. Shampoo and Conditioner cost only $108 while those famous hair saloon cost around $160 or much more than that.

Had dinner at my in law's place. Seems like she's not angry with me anymore. But still feel very bad about that incident.

Bought 2 durians (D24 and 101) but this time the durians really CMI. The 101 is too ripe and the taste is a bit weird while there's only 4 seeds in the D24. Melvin said the best timing to buy durians is in the evening as it's the freshest. I also don't know what's the reason behind. Kind of disappointed with the standard this time. Will get Melvin to help me buy as he knows the seller quite well.

Tmr is Fri the 13th. Hope nothing bad will happen.

I felt very bad for what had happened yesterday. I caned Veona on her arm for misbehaving. My mother in law got worked up when she saw I caned Veona's arm (cause she said the right place to cane is the leg) and told Kennie in a very angry manner that she has never caned her this way so we shouldn't be doing it to Veona. As I knew that she's targetting it on me, I told her that I was the one caned her and not Kennie so she should not say all those words to her but should confront me instead. She was angry with what I said and said something back to me (can't remember the exact words). So I told her back that Veona is my daughter and no one should interfere on how I educate her.

Sighh.. Guess she must be very sad and angry for what I have said. I know I was in the wrong but she should phrase it in a better way. I was already very angry with Veona for misbehaving and she added more fuel to it. But anyway, hope she will cool down soon.

Craving for durian again so went to the stall that Melvin recommended. Bought 1 durian (Cat Mountain King direct translation from Chinese) which cost $20 ($10 per kg). It's quite bitter and it's very fleshy with small seeds. Will try the D24 and sultan king the next time.

Kennie rebonded her hair at a home based hairdresser at Jurong West St 91. It's dirt cheap. Only cost $60 for Shiseido rebonding which could easily cost $200 at other saloon. The whole process took only 3 hr+ and the result was good. She's really very pro and skillful in doing rebonding. Her business was real good. It's only early afternoon and she has already served 5 customers.

Next, we week to Bugis street for lunch and to buy seaweed. Visited Mum at Sis's house and played with Cara and Crystal.

The prawn mee is very fresh and soup is quite special as compared to most prawn noodle. But I don't think it shd get the best prawn mee title. There's just something lacking in the soup but I don't know what. There's only add prawns in their noodles, just what Kennie and the kids love most. There's no fish cake, pork rib, meat etc.

Wow... Nice 101 durians

Durian and dinner treat from Sis and Melvin. Melvin bought 2 big durians for us (brand is 101). After eating these 2 durians, we felt like a carrot. The standard of the durians are very much comparable to what we ate in Dempsey road but at a much cheaper price tag. It only cost $20 while it would easily cost $50 at Dempsey road.

Accompanied Kennie to AMK hub for her hair treatment. While she's doing the treatment, I brought the kids to shop around AMK hub. Tried the GOGO hotdog with prata and it's quite nice but cost $2.80. It's just hotdog with prata. Kind of ex. Next time will buy the hotdog from them and buy the prata from NTUC.

Had lunch with Si Hui at NYNY. We had the sandwich and the BBQ Spring chicken. 1 word to describe. Sucks. Service was slow and the food is simply tasteless. A cup of lime juice cost $4.90++ and we expect that they would use a much presentable glass. Instead it look more like what Mac serves. Or maybe I give the main outlet at City link a try? Si Hui and Kennie have lots to catch up as they have not met each other for mths.

Sudden craving for crabs so we went to Lim Chu Kang to buy crabs. It's actually a wholesale centre for crabs. Though it's a wholesale centre, they are still kind enough to entertain walk-in customers. Bought 2 crabs. 1 is 1.3 kg @ $24/kg and the other is 0.6 kg @ $15/kg. We couldn't cook the chilli or pepper style as our stove is spoilt so we just steam it. The crabs were really very fresh and nice.

Nice long jetty. I used to come here to fish when I was 13 years old. Looks like no one come here to fish now. Only to catch small fishes, prawns and mussel.

Since it's still early, we bought the kids to the Lim Chu Kang Jetty to see the rural part of Singapore. People were digging out mussel under the jetty. Looks quite dirty to us as there's mud stuck around the mussel.

Was on half day off today. Went back home after lunch at JP. Slacking at home. Sometime I enjoy private moment at home to do things that I like. It's not that I'm anti social but I believe everyone shd have some private and peaceful moment at time.

Lunch treat by boss at Ichiban Sushi today. So good of him. Haha. Got free lunch then he's good. (joking)

Final setup for the promotion celebration after lunch. Buay tahan, so many changes. The food for the celebration was good. There's pepper crab, beijing roast duck, mutton soup, popian, satay, bla bla bla and even durians. We even employed the service of Tiger Gals to pour the beer. Too bad couldn't take pictures of the food and the Tiger gals. The event was considered a success.

Good news for some but bad news for most. The event that we are organizing has been postponed for the 2nd time. Much effort has been put in by the organizing committee to send out the invitation and coordinate on the logistic requirements. But it has been postponed thanks to some big shot in our organization. I am actually in charge of the seating arrangements of the VIPs and my job will only starts nearer to the event. So meaning, I have not done anything yet or my efforts would have been wasted.

Veona didnt go to school cause she's having stomach upset. Too bad couldn't take child sick leave cause I was preparing the promotion celebration tomorrow.

Attended 2 wedding today. A Chinese and a Malay customary wedding. The Malay wedding was an invitation from Kennie's colleague. It's the wedding of his son. It's the first time I that I have attended a Malay wedding. Since young, I have been wanting to attend one cause the fried chicken smell so nice when I walked pass them. Quite disappointed with the food as the food is not that fantastic as what I have thought except for the assorted kueh. The fried chicken is very hard and cold. Didn't get to see the bride and bridegroom as they have not arrived yet. I'm a bit mountain tortoise cause I only found out today that Malay wedding is different from ours, we will only start the dinner when the couple arrived. But for Malay, they will go ahead with the food before the newly wed arrived. Most of them will not get a chance to see them if they leave earlier.

Attend Chris's wedding at Restaurant 88 at Harbour front. End up at Dragon gate restaurant only to realized that I came to the wrong restaurant. Luckily both restaurants are quite near. As he's an Officer, there's sword bearer in his wedding ceremony. The bridegroom need to kiss 4 parts of the bride's body before the 1st bearer will let him pass. Next he need to do 10 push up and said I LOVE YOU after every push up. Third is ?????? (Forgot already). Forth is to carry the bride up to the stage. Not really a takan session cause it's easy to pass it.

As I watched the video of the photo montage, my mind wander to the day my 2 bao bei got married. They will have lots of photo collection to choose from for their wedding video. Will I miss them after they are married? Kennie has been wanting to retake our wedding photo cause ours is considered old fashion already. But I dont really like to take photo.
